If you have heard nothing about the Ice Diet yet, you certainly should look it up: this diet is refreshing and… cunning! The idea is that cold food cools the body, making us lose weight while it expends energy to warm itself.

 

“COLD” RULES

Rule No. 1: Shed the layers! Don’t put on extra clothes when it isn’t freezing and don’t get scared by air conditioner set at 18 °C in summer.

Rule No. 2: Be “frosty” about everything. Sleep dressed in light clothing in a cool room, don’t hide under the thick blanket.

Rule No. 3: Air your rooms. Air the rooms at home and at work regularly both in winter and summer season.

Rule No. 4: Freshen up! Make a habit to take contrast showers, then replace it with a cool shower, and after you get used to it, take cold showers.  

Rule No. 5: Great promenade. If possible, take a walk in the morning or try to spend time outdoors as much as you can.

 

ABOUT THE DIET

You can follow this diet for up to 6 weeks, however, even within one week of the cold regime, you can lose up to 5 kg. “Icy” lifestyle will normalize blood sugar level, make you fit and strong and help you sleep better.

If you are interested in this diet, consult your doctor before taking it up since there are some contraindications:

  • Disorders of gastrointestinal and excretory system
  • Nose, throat, lung and bronchi problems
  • Pregnancy and lactation

A small tip: when dieting, eat cold food; if you want some sweets, you can eat ice cream, although it must be made of natural ingredients. Also, you can cool down drinks using a special ice generator.

 

WHAT CAN MY DIETARY REGIME FOR A WEEK INCLUDE?

Remember that your food needs to be cold and drinks should be with ice. Your menu for 7 days can be like this:
